Tip of who lives in SP
Located on the right bank of the Rio Pinheiros (south), the districts of Morumbi and Butantã hold important touristic attractions of the City of São Paulo.
Morumbi originated from the allotment of a ranch of the 19th century and has not stopped growing since, having become one
of the places with the most expensive square meter in the city.
Important sites are the Morumbi stadium, inaugurated on October 2nd, 1960, the home of São Paulo Futebol Clube, Palácio
dos Bandeirantes, which houses the office of the Governor of the State of São Paulo, luxurious shopping malls, the Jockey and the Burle Marx Park.
The district of Butantan developed after 1900 with the installation of the Institute that gave name to the district, and the University City, where the USP – Universidade de São Paulo campus is located – the largest public university of Brazil, and the third in Latin America.
