The Cinematheque is one of the most important audiovisual material libraries of the continent, and also restore and display various shows and films outside the commercial circuit, focused on the aesthetics and innovation of cinema.
The site has two rooms with total capacity for 300 people, digital sound and screens films in various formats. Considered the largest in Latin America, its collection has about 200,000 rolls of film, corresponding to 30 000 titles, such as images of the defunct TV Tupi and newsreels from the 1930s.
