The Ciccillo Matarazzo Pavilion is, since 1957, the stage of one of the world’s most important art exhibitions: the São Paulo Biennial. Designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer, the building is a true icon of Brazilian modernist architecture, listed by Heritage.
Recognizing the transformative potential of activities based on products, services and cultural events, the São Paulo Biennial Foundation places there its headquarters and a larger space for events related to the creative economy – visual arts, film, television, literature and publishing, fashion, design, technology, tourism, sports, antiques, food, advertising, architecture and others.
