Although located in the neighborhood of Bixiga, there’s nothing Italian at all about Amazônia. With authentic regional recipes from Pará and a rustic décor, the restaurant is popular for its gastronomic diversity.
Opened in 2008 by native Paraense Paulo Leite, the dream is very simple: a place that offers people the most authentic north Brazilian cuisine under the sun. With no spin-offs and a lot of elegance, the restaurant presents traditional Paranense food with finesse.

Some of the classics include caranguejada (crab), camarão seco (with shrimp), pato no tucupi (with duck), maniçoba (also known as indigenous feijoada) and, of course, typical native fruits such as açaí, cajá and cupuaçu
This discrete establishment offers the “Seven Classics Buffet,” with seven dishes imperative for anyone who wants to experience all the delicious aspects of paraense cuisine for a single price.
