Within the Forestry Institute is located the Forestal Museum ” Octavio Vecchi “, which has assets in rich wood details with perfect replicas of the seeds and leaves of trees, as well as parts charão, woodcut and traveling exhibitions.
In the collection, the public can enjoy the woods seed showcase carved with fruit and real tree leaf, as well as furniture and objects made from native trees. The museum is located within the Horto Florestal.
Opening Hours: Tuesday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1h30 a.m. to 4h30 p.m. The museum doesn’t open on rainy days.
