Ibirapuera Planetarium

Under state trust, Ibirapuera Planetarium has been undergone to several changes to be modernized.  New StarMaster projector, manufactured by Carl Zeiss, can see the sky from any known point in the universe, such as, from Mars. Due to a fiber optics projection system, all stars can be reproduced in real color and brightness.

The first planetarium in Latin America opened in January, 1957 and has new peripheral projectors capable to bring to São Paulo images collected by Hubble space telescope and Nasa satellites, and other possibilities.
