Italia Building, the second tallest building in São Paulo, was first opened in 1965. From the top of its 165 meters (150 meters from the floor), this is an important tourist point, with nineteen elevators, 6,000 m² of glass and capacity for 10,000 people.

A milestone in the city, not only for its size, but also but its famous and traditional restaurant, Terraço Italia. On the top floor, visitors will have a 360º view; the restaurant also provides one excellent selection of wine.

In its 46 floors, this building also houses a theater, a gallery on the first floor and the old club Circolo Italiano. Designed by architect Franz Heep, this establishment was thought by Italian colony in São Paulo; the building today is a great example of vertical architecture in Brazil.

If you cross Ipiranga and São Luís avenues, it is quite impossible to avoid looking up and try to see the top.
