In 2009, the 23rd Casa Cor Sao Paulo presents a novelty focusing on diversifying attendees- Two simultaneous events: Casa Hotel – for tourism sector - and Casa Kids - for children sector, presenting projects and designs focusing on fun and activities that every child likes. It will be the biggest decoration and architecture event already held in Brazil, with almost 110 environments in 22,000 m2.

This year’s theme will be Sustainability, that is more and more relevant in world scene and, in architecture and decoration area, it stimulates solution development providing comfort and functionality and keeping harmony between men and environment. Almost 200 famous professionals, including decorators, architects and landscapers, will "incentive the creation of spaces gathering the latest contemporary living trends and several ways to contribute with the environment, using energy, water or materials", says Angelo Derenze, Casa Cor President.  

Casa Hotel
One of innovations in 2009 Casa Cor will be Casa Hotel, a former parallel event that will now complete Casa Cor focusing part of the event on tourism by presenting luxury, charming and well designed rooms and environments. A great surprise at Casa Hotel will be theme rooms with some details referring to Brazilian personalities, like singer Ivete Sangalo and TV presenter Hebe Camargo. Those visiting the show will be able to see how professionals take their characteristics into architecture, design, objects and functionalities at the rooms.

Attendees will also be able to take part in workshops with chefs of luxury hotels and lectures with famous architects and landscapers.

Casa Cor 2009 will also organize awards, unique food services, shopping area and live music performance, and also Casa Cor brand product shopping and two days of special sale, when such products will be sold at maximum 70% off.

The event will also pay homage to Roberto Burle Marx, celebrating the 100th birthday of the biggest Brazilian landscaper, and nature and Brazilian originality defender.
