The metropolis was ranked among the 40 cities that will make a difference in people's lives in the future, according to a ranking released by the McCann Worldgroup, a global network of advertising agencies. The list was based on responses from 900 employees and customers of the company. São Paulo was remembered for finding original solutions to transform urban problems typical of megalopoles.

Rio de Janeiro also appears in this list of the world's most attractive cities for business and investments, which includes famous locations such as Paris, New York and Tokyo.
