Considered one of the most difficult styles to master, this show is always conducted by one or more artists who, with only a microphone, are able to make the audience laugh.

Clube da Comédia

Pioneer of stand-up comedy in São Paulo and with some of the top names in Brazilian stand-up comedy, such as Marcelo Mansfield, former member of Terça Insana, Oscar Filho and Danilo Gentili, from the TV show CQC, the group presents a show based on funny observations about routine and life in general.

The differential of the group is the fact that it is a comedy club, that is, every night it gives the audience a different show, with original texts, written by the comedians.

Comédia ao Vivo

With dynamic and irreverent performances, the cast strictly follows the format of American Stand-Up Comedy. In addition to the fixed cast, the show always has special guests, who perform freely. Each comedian is responsible for his/her own repertoire, constantly renewed.

ImproRiso

Ending the week in a good mood is the proposal of the group, who performs on Thursdays and is always comprised of four different people.

Each time, Bruno Motta and Nany People, the only two fixed comedians in the cast, welcome guests such as Marcelo Adnet, from the TV show 15 Minutos, Dani Calabresa, hostess of Furo MTV, and many other comedians to participate on the improve comedy show.

While the audience drinks and eats during the show, the artists present their view on everyday life, politics, relationships, and also do hilarious impressions on some celebrities.

Seleção do Humor Stand-up

The differential of this show is that the fixed cast opens a segment, “Open Mic”, for anonymous and famous candidates, such as Sérgio Mallandro and Otávio Mesquita, to showcase their talent or, in some cases, the lack.

Occasionally the show welcomes famous guests and great comedians, such as Fernando Caruso, who participated in Zorra Total, Rafinha Bastos and Danilo Gentili, from the TV show CQC, and Geraldo Magela, from Rede Record’s Escolinha do Barulho.

In addition to gathering the best texts from comedian Bruno Motta, one of the main representatives of stand-up comedy in Brazil, it has all-new material produced especially for the show.

Among the comedian’s strengths there are strong interaction with the audience, ability to joke around without being aggressive, and the unique scenic game, which surprises the audience each time.

Vamu ki vamu!

The show is performed solely by actor Guilherme Uzeda, member of the traditional show Terça Insana, who presents his view on everyday life in a funny, intelligent way.

Guilherme conducts his performances in a classic stand-up format, where the actor is fresh-faced, but sometimes he impersonates his favorite characters: the “drop-dead poor” Zildo, the “country boy” Vicente, and a parody of Snow White, through which he shows the adult side of fairy tales.

Tamo Junto!

In addition to being performed in São Paulo for over one year, the show has traveled to more than 80 Brazilian cities and was voted the best stand-up comedy show in 2009.

The host and comedian Marco Luque, one of the hosts of TV show CQC, entertains his audience by revealing a few personal stories and making unusual comments and reflections on everyday life.

Humor de Salto Alto

Comprised by Carol Zoccoli, screenwriter of Band’s comedy show É Tudo Improviso, Micheli Machado, comedienne with participations in the TV shows Casseta&Planeta, Zorra Total and others, and Cris Paiva, comedienne known in the Sorocaba region, Humor de Salto Alto was the first stand-up show comprised solely of women, who address facts related to women’s universe to everyday life events.

On each performance, the girls invite a comedian to be the “master of ceremony,” who connects the sketches on the show. Alexandre Frota and Evandro Santo, Panico’s character Christian Pior, among others, were MCs.

3Tosterona

Opposite to the show above, this one is comprised solely of men. In between beers, actors/comedians Robson Nunes, who worked on the TV show Malhação, and Luiz França, who performed on TV shows Gugu and Faustão, entertain the audience of the Beverly Hills Bar. Each night, the duo invites an actor to join the show, split in two acts. Act one is pure stand-up, and on act two the boys interpret other characters, from a hillbilly to a furious rapper.

Segundas Cômicas

With microphones, one spotlight and hilarious remarks on everyday life, Luiz França, Gus Fernandes – who also shares the stage with Nany People on “Nany People salvou meu casamento” -, Felipe Hamachi, creator of the successful stand-up show Divina Comédia, and Paulinho Serra, from MTV Brazil, make the audience of Ao Vivo Music, in Moema, laugh. Every week, the group invites a different comedian to be on the show.

Senta pra rir

Famous comedian Diogo Portugal, who was on TV show Zorra Total, conducts this show, which, in addition to stand-up comedy, also has interpretations of some of his characters: manicure Marlene Marluce Catarina, doorman Ediomar, former prostitute Pamela Conti, the fashionist Dani Ficado, advertiser Carlos Umberto Modesto, jiu-jitsu fighter Bomba, old lady Cremilda, and office-boy Elvisley.

Os Impossívels

The group formed by Rafael Marinho, Rogério Vilela and Rudy Landucci, specialized in stand-up comedy, performs on Tuesdays on the traditional Manifesto Rock Bar. The comedians make the audience laugh with a show that goes beyond traditional stand-up, with intervention from the acoustic guitarist Marquinhos Dorna.

Terça no Escuro - O Melhor do Ceguinho na Acústica São Paulo

Comedian Geraldo Magela makes people laugh by telling stories of his personal life and making jokes on common everyday situations, such as stories about love hotlines and common facts in the day of visually-impaired people.

Afrobege

With a good dose of irony and humor, comedian Robson Nunes transforms his personal experiences in funny jokes. In addition to texts in stand-up comedy format, he also performs sketches with fun characters.
