Gastronomy Festivals: “10th Cavaquinha Lobster Festival"

Between September 24th and December 19th, the restaurant Freddy has a mandatory option for those who love seafood cuisine. The “10th Cavaquinha Lobster Festival" brings special recipes with this crustacean as main ingredient.

The cavaquinha is popularly known as a rock lobster, fished on Espírito Santo. The delicacy became a dish coveted by those who love crustaceans. It is only commercialized between August and December, period when its fishing is authorized by the Brazilian Environment Institute (IBAMA).

On its tenth edition, the festival has become a reference, because for three months the event sells over 5,000 dishes with this lobster. Among the main ones, there are Buttered Cavaquinha and Curry Cavaquinha. The Festival joins the traditional schedule of the restaurant.
